I am an historian of ancient Rome who lives in the American Midwest. My first novel,
The Sign of the Sibyl, is now available
on Amazon in paperback and Kindle e-book. I intend
The Sign of the Sibyl to be the first part of a four-book series set in a parallel world connected by magic to our own Mediterranean. Besides Tolkien, I particularly admire Lewis's Space Trilogy, Guy Gavriel Kay's
Sarantium novels, and Ann Lawrence's
Between the Forest and the Hills. In the hazy future, I hope to return to a long-running science fiction project, and to publish a few stand-alone stories that experiment with more unusual fantasy settings (more on this to come in my blog posts, so stay tuned).
